What is Prospective Marriage Visa Australia

The Prospective Marriage visa Australia, which is commonly known as a Fiancé Visa, allows Filipinos to travel to Australia to marry their prospective spouse and subsequently apply for an on-shore Spouse Visa. With this visa, successful applicants can travel and stay in Australia for 9 months from the date of their visa grant. You can work in Australia during this time, as well as study at your own expense, however, you must marry your Australian sponsor and initiate an on-shore spouse visa pathway within 9 months of the visa being granted in the Philippines.

Note: It is possible that you and your fiancé/fiancée to be together now while we manage your documentation compliance strategy. RMA is able to provide legal guidance for a valid Visitor or Tourist Visa pathway simultaneously while your Prospective Marriage Visa Australia is ongoing. Once approved, you will be able to travel to Australia much sooner than expected. This visa is only recommended to apply for in certain circumstances.
